A while ago we implemented the module for file approval called Charon for the Raiffeisenbank company. Basically it does a simple thing - monitors file folder and when a new file is registered it removes the access rights for users, put the file in an evidence and send a link to all approvers. They check the file and once it is approved it is automatically transfered into another directory ready for processing by next system.
